I'm not dead lol
Kyarn » Devlog

Just letting everyone know the project isn’t dead, I just work incredibly slowly. It’s hard to find a good spot to stop writing, for one. Always had that issue.
These pictures aren’t for the next build, but they will make an appearance somewhat soon. These are meant for ~10 months after the outbreak, in summer. I based it off of what I’ve seen irl when it comes to kudzu growth on buildings, and the fact it grows 1-2 feet per day. Things would probably get pretty overgrown within a year. The first one is a photo I took myself and drew over, while the others are photos of Scottsboro and the surrounding area I found online.
What do y’all think?

They look really good, I especially like the darker tones from the first picture really ties it into the setting in my opinion. Not to say the other two don't look good though, it's nice to see real locations added to a visual novel makes it seem closer to home one of the reasons I really like this one. Either way definitely looking forward to the next build and the one that includes these images.
Thanks! Pretty much all of the photos I use in my VN are at the very least in the same region it’s supposed to be, if not the same town/county. Living in the area it’s set in makes it a lot easier to do that lol
